Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of affiBox PlayCam (the “Service”), operated by affiBox (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Puerto Rico, United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

- En el plan gratuito (Community) tu transmisión es pública, no se puede poner privada, y podemos publicarla o usar partes de ella en los canales de PlayCamTV. Si eso no te sirve para un juego, no lo transmitas en el plan gratuito.
- Tú eres responsable de las personas que salen en cámara, y si hay menores necesitas el permiso de su madre, padre o tutor antes de transmitir.
- Si quieres que quitemos un juego, escríbenos y lo quitamos. Ver la Sección 17.
In short — the important parts, in plain words
- Your video is yours. It stays yours.
- We keep a copy of everything that passes through our servers. Deleting one video from your account leaves our copy in place. Deleting your whole account deletes the archive too.
- On the free plan (Community) your broadcast is public, cannot be made private, and we may publish it or use parts of it on PlayCamTV’s channels. If that does not work for a particular game, do not stream that game on the free plan.
- You are responsible for the people on camera, and where minors appear you need their parent’s or guardian’s permission before you broadcast.
- If you want a game taken down, write to us and we take it down. See Section 17.

1. The Service
PlayCam lets you publish a live video stream from a phone or encoder to our relay, which can restream it to third-party platforms you connect (such as Facebook and YouTube), record a master copy, capture score and event metadata, and generate clips, highlights, and other derived media from your streams and recordings. Whether you can view or download that master copy yourself depends on your plan; see Sections 3 and 10.
2. Your account & eligibility
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and operate a broadcast. The Service is not directed to children, and minors may not create accounts. Minors may appear in content only under the conditions in Section 4.
3. Your content & the rights you grant us
You retain all ownership of the video, audio, score data, images, and other content you stream, upload, or generate through the Service (“Your Content”). To operate and improve the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, encode, record, reproduce, create derivative works from (such as clips, highlights, reels, and thumbnails), and deliver Your Content to the destinations you choose, and to use Your Content as described in Section 5.
We keep a copy. Every broadcast that passes through our servers is recorded and retained in our archive. We keep that copy after your broadcast ends, after any viewing or download window closes, and after you delete the recording from your account. Deleting a recording from your account removes your access to it; on its own it does not erase our archived copy.
Deleting your account deletes the archive too. If you delete your account, we delete your archived recordings along with it, on the timeline in our Privacy Policy. The one exception is material we already published under the free-plan license below — a clip already on a PlayCamTV channel stays published, because it has already been distributed. If you want that removed as well, ask us under Section 17 and we will remove it.
Free plans (“Community”) are public, and we may publish what you broadcast. This is the trade that makes the free plan free, so it is stated plainly rather than buried: on a free plan, broadcasts are public and cannot be made private or unlisted through the Service, and you additionally grant us the right to publish, redistribute, excerpt, clip, caption, and promote Your Content — in whole or in part — on channels and accounts operated by us, including PlayCamTV, with attribution where practical. If you cannot or do not want to grant that for a particular game, do not stream that game on a free plan. Paid plans do not include this publication right: we publish a paid user’s content on our own channels only with their permission.
Except as stated above, this license exists only to run and develop the Service. It ends when you delete the relevant content, save for our archived copy, residual copies retained for a limited period or as required by law, and content you have made public or shared with third-party platforms.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having all rights, licenses, consents, releases, and permissions necessary to stream, record, and distribute it — including any music, footage, logos, trademarks, names, voices, or likenesses it contains.
4. Consent, releases & minors — your responsibility
By streaming or uploading content through the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You have obtained all consents and releases required by law from every identifiable person who appears or can be heard in Your Content, for the recording, live streaming, public display, and distribution of their image and voice through the Service and any platforms you connect.
- Where Your Content includes minors, you have obtained verifiable, informed consent from each minor’s parent or legal guardian before recording or streaming, and you comply with all applicable child-protection, privacy, and likeness laws.
- You comply with the rules of the venue, league, federation, school, or organization where you record, and with all applicable recording, wiretap, and publicity laws in your jurisdiction (including Puerto Rico).
- You will use available privacy controls appropriately — including keeping content involving minors private or unlisted where consent for public distribution has not been given.
We do not verify consents or releases and are not responsible for obtaining them. If you cannot make these representations for a given broadcast, do not stream it.
5. Automated processing, AI & product improvement
The Service uses automated systems, including machine-learning and AI, to operate and improve. You agree that we may process Your Content and the metadata you generate (such as the live score and event timeline) to: provide the Service; automatically detect moments and generate clips, highlights, reels, captions, and other derived media; surface those to you and, where you have made content public or shared it, to viewers; analyze usage; maintain safety and security; and develop, train, and improve our features and models. We may contact you about content we have created for you and about features available on paid plans. Where we use Your Content to develop or improve the Service, we work to do so in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy.
6. Connected platforms
When you connect a third-party account (e.g., Facebook, YouTube), your use of that platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms and policies. You authorize PlayCam to create and manage live broadcasts on your behalf on those platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior, policies, or actions of third-party platforms, including any removal, restriction, or monetization of your broadcasts.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to stream, upload, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative (including any sexualized depiction of minors), defamatory, or that violates the rights of others or the rules of any connected platform. You may not record or broadcast individuals without the consents required by Section 4. You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
8. Your representations & warranties
You represent and warrant that: (a) all information you provide is accurate; (b) you have all rights and consents described in Sections 3 and 4; (c) Your Content and your use of the Service comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of any connected platform; and (d) you will not use the Service in any way that creates liability for us or harms others.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless affiBox and its owners, operators, employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Content; (b) your streaming, recording, or distribution of any person’s image or voice, including any failure to obtain required consents or releases or any claim brought by or on behalf of a minor or their guardian; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; (d) your violation of any third-party right, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights; and (e) your use of any connected platform. We may assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you will cooperate with us.
10. Plans & payment
The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid features, pricing, storage limits, and billing terms are presented at the point of purchase and are processed by our payment provider. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plans, features, and pricing on reasonable notice.
11. Service availability
We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that streams, recordings, third-party deliveries, or generated media will be uninterrupted, complete, retained for any particular period, or error-free. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of content you wish to preserve.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, affiBox and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 3 (our archived copy, the license as to already-distributed content, and the publication right granted on free plans), 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, and 17 — survive. Closing your account does not erase our archive; Section 17 is how material is actually removed.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Puerto Rico for any dispute not subject to other agreement.
17. Removing content
Because we keep an archive (Section 3) and because free-plan broadcasts are public, there has to be a way to get something taken down. There is, and it applies whether or not you are the account holder.
Write to affiboxapps@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the broadcast — a link, or the teams, date and venue. You may write in Spanish or English. You do not need an account to ask. A parent or guardian who did not agree to their child being broadcast, a player, a club, or a venue can all make this request.
- We remove the material from our archive, from any PlayCamTV channel or account where we published it, and from our own site and indexes.
- We aim to act within 5 business days, and faster where the request concerns a minor.
- We cannot remove copies on platforms we do not control — if the broadcast also went out on your own Facebook page or YouTube channel, that copy is yours to remove. We will tell you where we know a copy exists.
- We may keep a minimal record that a removal happened, and retain material where the law requires it.
Requests concerning a minor are treated as a priority and do not require you to explain or justify the request.
